About

Born and raised in Baltimore City, Savas is a partner at Humphreys, McLaughlin & McAleer, LLC with over a decade of experience in defending Maryland employers, insurers, and local municipalities in defense of workers’ compensation claims at Commission hearings, jury trials, and appellate proceedings.

With many ties to the region, Savas is a proud alumnus of the Calvert Hall College High School and Towson University. During law school, Savas logged over 1,000 direct clinical legal hours in service of indigent clients in the District of Columbia.

Savas has been selected by Baltimore Magazine and Super Lawyers Magazine as “Rising Star” from 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026 in the field of Workers’ Compensation.
