Donald S. Poole
About
Mr. Poole is a 1985 graduate of Loyola College of Baltimore having earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science Cum Laude. He then attended University of Baltimore School of Law earing his J.D. In 1988. Following bar admission in 1988, Mr. Poole was employed by the Law Offices of E. Thomas Maxwell, Jr. (1988-1990) specializing in criminal defense litigation and various civil matters. Thereafter, he represented Employers and Insurers while an associate attorney with house counsel for Cigna Insurance from 1990-94. After brief employment with Semmes, Bowen and Semmes in 1994, he joined Herwig & Humphreys, LLP where he became a partner concentrating entirely on Worker's Compensation defense at the Workers' Compensation Commission, Circuit and Appellate Courts. Bar admissions include the Court of Appeals of Maryland, United States District Court, District of Maryland, and the United States Courts of Appeal Third and Fourth Circuits.
