W. Tyler Mays

Timothy E. McLaughlin

Tyler Mays has an earned reputation for providing consistently aggressive, effective, thorough representation of employers, insurance companies, self-insured employers and third party administrators throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia. Tyler's entire career has involved defending the interests of employers and insureds. Currently, Tyler's practice is almost completely devoted to workers' compensation matters.

In 11 years of practice, Tyler has litigated thousands of claims before the Maryland Workers Compensation Commission, Maryland District Courts, Maryland Circuit Court, Maryland Court of Specials Appeals, The Office of Workers Compensation and Administrative Hearing Division (DC) combined. The results of his efforts to represent the best interest of his clients effectively has helped Tyler to develop a diverse practice to include national and regional insurance carriers, hospitals, health care facilities and senior living facilities, manufacturing plants, small and large construction companies, national and regional retailers, and municipalities.

Tyler has quickly established himself as one of the leaders of the workers' compensation community. Due to his expertise and his desire to educate clients, Tyler has been requested to present to client on best practices in handling workers' compensation claims. In 2016, he was asked to lecture at the Maryland Workers Compensation Educational Association's (MWCEA) annual conference attended by thousands of individuals in the workers' compensation industry.

Should the need arise, he looks forward to the honor of representing your business in the future.
